HONOR ROLL #15, JULY 11

Since most of the "Feige Avengers" had their own features, I decided to attribute the first film to one of the guys who didn't have one, JEREMY RENNER.

Frank Miller's "Marv" is sort of a marvel of both outstanding strength and overwhelming ugliness, which is why MICKEY ROURKE gets a mention here.

After doing two blockbuster "Hercules" films, STEVE REEVES did a few more "muscleman adventure" flicks, but no more starring the Son of Zeus. Apprehension about diminishing returns, perhaps/

KURT RUSSELL has a plethora of "superhero opera" roles from which to choose. But since by my own rules I've got to choose one, I'll go with Snake Plissken as the most iconic.

JANINE REYNAUD teamed up with ROSANNA YANNI to come out with two diverting if mostly empty "girl-adventure" films.

I never liked "classic RODAN," but he teamed up well with Godzilla, so I guess his original film deserves mention.
