HONOR ROLL #41, AUGUST 18

It's not that great a feat for a cartoon to do well with "big guns" like Thor, Iron Man and Captain America. But it's a rare production that can compose good storylines for a "shape-changer" like GIANT-MAN (aka Ant-Man, aka Yellowjacket).

Having committed Johnny Weissmuller to his career as Tarzan, the less than legendary "Jungle Jim" series can only be represented by support-cast like VIRGINIA GREY.

LISA GASTONI doesn't succeed in coming between the male bonds of the Three Avengers.

Wild woman DANA GILLESPIE inducts modern heroes into one of the many "Lost Worlds" that followed that of Arthur Conan Doyle.

JENNIFER GARNER's Elektra wasn't particularly "complex."

Godzilla finally found a European rival in the domain of city-smashing giant monsters with England's GORGO.
