HONOR ROLL #39, AUGUST 15

Former "realistic" action-star MICHAEL DOUGLAS got initiated into the world of the superhero (albeit a retired one).

The Tarzan films of Classic Hollywood weren't "A" pictures, but they did tend to attract many actors who were, or turned to be, A-listers, like LARAINE DAY.

SARAH DOUGLAS's role in SUPERMAN II gave her a cachet for support-parts that lasted two more decades.

Since "Valerian" starred both DAVID DEHAHN and CARA DELEVIGNE, does that make it a "double D" movie?

Former "Cleopatra Jones" TAMARA DOBSON made one last good show of her kung-fu skills in the TV-film "Amazons."

Since I've already listed Kurt Russell, for his perf as a villainous psycho I'll cite one of the ladies who takes him out with the trash, ROSARIO DAWSON.
