Getting away from comic-book superheroes for a bit, here's one of the few well-known (albeit to dinosaurs) superheroes created for film, "Rocket Man," played by TRISTAM COFFIN.
No problem choosing SEAN CONNERY for the first "serious" spy, and also no problem choosing the Bondfilm that used him to best effect.

It might have been interesting to see CYBER SIX played by a human performer, except that she'd probably kill herself on those heels.
